WEARS SUE SHERIFFSSuit has been filed in the District Court of Williamson County by 1). F. anti Wilson Wear against Sheriff George S. Matthews and sureties of Travis County, Sheriff U.K. Prittle anti bondsmen of Hays County, anti Sheriff J. H. Franks of Caldwell County and bondsmen for $50,000. The petition alleges that the officers arrested the plaintiffs two months ago on charges of robbing the Kyle Hank of $17,000 by blowing open the safe anti placed them in the jail at San Marcos. The plaintiffs allege there was no evidence against them anil they were discharged upon examination. The cases are set for the June term.
