Mon., April 9,1973 |5Charge Fulton Man in Alleged Clay BurglaryCLAY — A 24 . year - old Fulton man is being held in the Public Safety Building, Syracuse, on charges of burglary second degree and possession of burglary tools following his arrest early today by a Baldwinsville police officer who had overheard on his patrol car radio an incident near here.Ronald Dingman of 225 Broadway, Fulton, was committed to the Public Safety Building by Town Justice Floyd Linn for reappearance Tuesday on the two charges when arraigned this morning by local town police. No bail was set! by the justice.Baldwinsville patrolman Wayne W. Sica about 1:50 a.m. spotted a car with bullet holes on the driver’s side on W. Genesee St. and apprehended the Fultonian. lie turned him over to Clay patrolman Richard Schaad and Sgt. Thomas Bottar who carged Dingman in the alleged burglary of the Rotary Service Station operated by Raymond C. Sematoske lt;lt;t Route 57, Town of Clay.Schaad said that about 1:10 a.m. Sematoske, who resides over the station with his family, heard noises inside the stati: -n below and spotted a man leaving the station. He fired 15 shots from his .22 caliber rifle at the fleeing car. Police said about seven bullet holes were found on the left side of thecar in the vicinity of the driver’s! seat and added, it was a miracle that the driver had not been hit by any of the bullets. !The officer said nothing had been taken inside the station. It is believed that Dingman had been frightened from the scene j by the sound of the owner upstairs.Investigation is being continued in the case, Schaad said this morninn
