Prep star charged in murderLOS ANGELES (UPI)—One of the ration's top prep track stars and three other young men face a preliminary hearing April 20 on charges of killing Robert Rallou, 16, when he refused to give uo his leather jacket to attackers.The suspects were ordered held for trial and were denied bail Friday by Municipal Court Judge Noel Cannon.Ballou, sort of a Los Angeles attorney and cousin of former UCLA star linebacker Mike Ballou, was beaten and stomped to death across the street from the Hollywood Palladium March 20.His four companions said they were approached by a band of a dozen men and bovs who demanded their black leather jackets.
