Everett yesterday after pleading guilty to a charge of public intoxication.The man, Dennis Albert Parr of 1541 North ^ Twenty-fifth Street, was. taken into custody by local police after a merchant reported he caught Parr in the act of stealing several items of merchandise.James E. Broyles. 31 years old, 1125 South Twelfth Street, and Joseph A. Bell, 39. 1014 Gilbert Avenue, were each fined $18 after pleading guilty to public intoxication.Police said the two men were apprehended late Saturday night in the 1000 block on Gilbert Avenue after neighbors reported hearing a shotgun blast.Broyles was found carrying a .20-gsuge shotgun, police reported, and vowing he would get even with a relative whom be accused of slashing him across the face. At St. Anthony Hospital, attendants sewed up an eight-inch gash across the man’s left cheek.Windsor Hathecock. 74, 3519North Twenty-sixth Street, was fined $2.75 when he pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle with no operator’s license.Similar fines were given Thomas Richmond, 4328 South Seventh Street, for running a red flasher.Fred Sutherland, 53. 615 North Thirteenth Street, was fined $3.75 after pleading guilty to running a red light and Larry N.
