Case of Two Minor Native ChildrenBarrow Children Taken by Trooper to Grand Jury TrialBy JACQUELINE GLASGOWStaff WriterA complaint was filed last week in the Superior Court in Fairbanks protesting the removal of two minor children from the city of Barrow to appear as witnesses against their father before a grand jury in Fairbanks last November.Plaintiffs in the suit are thetwo minor children and their parents, all residents of Barrow. The defendants are the State of Alaska, the Commissioner of Public Safety, the State Trooper from the Barrow area, and the District Attorney for the Fourth Judicial District.The children were witnesses to an incident which occurcd in the family home.
