Attorney General Carl E. Bailey, who earne here with Edward McLean, New York's assistant racket prosecutor, to take Luciano to the capital where an extradition hearing is to he held before Governor Futrell, replied by announcing he would seek a contempt citation against the Garland county sherifi.Bailey alleged that Hot Springs authorities had taken Luciano into custody for the Hot Springs court late yesterday after he had been served with the Little Rock warrant for arrest issued in Pulaski Circuit Court under the state’s recently enacted uniform extradition law.Luciano remained in custody of the Hot Springs sheriff pending clarification of his status.
