REMINISCENT.Interesting Facts Learned From an Old Citizen Concerning the Late Susanna Parker.The following interesting data oi earning the life of tho la'e Susanna Parker has beon famished ns by a citizen who was well acquainted with the family daring the life time of Samuel Parker:Mrs. Parker’s maiden name was Susanna B. Wattoc. In her family there were six sisters and two brothers—Mrs. Parker, Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, wife of Caleb B. Smith, Mrs. Mary Justice, widow of Joseph Justice, a former druggist of this city, Mrs. LettiaJHedriok, first wife of Robert G. Hedrick. The fifth and sixth daughters were twins, Mrs. Mai 188a Wadley, wife of James A. Wadley, a former dry goods merchant here, Mrs. Elina, who was the second wife of It G. Hedrick. The two sons wore William and George Watton.Samuel W. Parker died 44 years ago, instead of twenty, as wbb erroneously stated by this paper yesterday.The family was prominent here. The Wattons came from Dayton,Ohio, abont 1821, near the same time that George Frj bargor came. Mrs. Parker was born at Dayton shortly before the family moved to Conners-viile. Their first home here was on Court street, just back of the Beck store room, some fifty feet from the street, and wes a one story frame bouse. The Wattons and Frybargera were very intimate, the late Col. W. W. Fryharger being named after the late William Watton.
