i Man Booked In Slayingwelch — — State police arrested Thomas Gahazel Braxton, 46, of Welch and charged him with murder Tuesday night in the shooting death of 53-year- old Palmer E. Davis Davis was. shot four times in the chest with a ,32-caliber revolver, police said. The shooting occurred in a Welch pool room. He was dead on arrival at a local hospital Police said Braxton and Davis were seen having an argument earlier in the day at a downtown restaurant.___
