He was released withoutThe Jefferson school was built in the late summer anti fall of 1927, following the vote of a bond issue in the spring to purchase the site and erect the building. It was constructed by E. W. Reiman.W. A. Hawkins was placed i n charge of the school after its occupancy and was assisted by five other teachers. The teaching staff has always taken great pride in the new building and labored incessantly to improve its appearance and equipment. Alderman Emil Eck has been janitor for the past two years.
