A hack-load of men and women drove down to the place about five o’clock yesterday morning, and the parties entered the house. Officers Smith and Farr, who had followed the hack short' ly afterward tried to get into the house and found the doors locked. The two officers were soon joined by several other patrolmen returning home after roll call, anc a second unsuccesful attempt was made to enter.
