charge.—Marriage licenses were issued on Saturday evening for the union of Arthur Nol le to Delia Wilson, and Santiago Villanueva to Lizzie Kramshaw.—Charles Stappenbeck surrendered on Sat-urnay, and was placed under a $500 bond. He accused Officer Ziegler of having first fired at him, and asserts that Ire fired in self defense.—The remains of the late S. E. Hard, of Kentucky, who recently died at Dr. Duke’s residence and was buried 011 While’s farm, were exhumed yesterday, and will be shipped home to-morrow.—The California and Pacific association had an interesting meeting on Saturday evening in the office of the secretary, Mr. Brice Grimes, on Soledad street. Mr. A. J. Clarke occupied the chair, and several new members were added.
