Lee Boniface and Clark Sutschg were responsible in large part for the landscaping and decorations.The meeting opened at i:4B a. m., with a bugle call. The American Legion post No. 277 provided that feature. Gordon Drew and his crusader singer* from Fullerton Episcopal choir *ang several group* of sacred music for the occasion. Clarabelle Solesbee gavo a pantomime, “The Angel Appears from the Tomb/’ and the Rev. D. X Brigham, of the Presbyterian church, led in the Invocation. The Rev. R. C. Rogers led in the scripture reading. Edward P. Backs sang a solo, ’’Victory,” with the Rev, Don Milligan accompanying, and the Rev. Mr. Milligan of Calvary church brought as the message of the morning “Three Gardens.”He compared the Garden of Eden with that of Gethaemane and the garden of Joseph where Christ lay in th® tomb, and in conclusion said that last garden scene where Christ arose brought to the world new light, with man released from the sentence of the first garden, the sentence of condemnation.After special music by the crusaders, the Rev. I. j. Brigham dismissed the audience with the benediction.Following the services, several groups of young people held Easter breakfasts, including the Intermediate department of the Calvary church, which, under direction of Howard Jerome and Lucille Allen,nIfJiPaaao1«
