Fined For Fighting.Gurney Piper, 34, of 1207 Fourth street 6E, was fined $25 and costsin police court today on a charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. Nick Anderson, 46, of 3245 Thirdstreet NW, pled not guilty to the same charge and will be tried Monday. They were arrested together at 1:50 a.m. today near 1211 Fifthstreet SE where they were allegedly fighting. Anderson suffered three deep cuts in his head and the city physician, called to attend him, said they had been made with a knife.
