Iowan Is Fined On Two Cliarg es|County jail records listed two traffic fines assessed by Raymond F. Cratty, justice of the peace, against Vernie Ronald Clay, 22, of Davenport. Arrested early Sunday morning by Trooper Edward Rohweder, Clay paid fines of $10, plus $5 costs, each on charges of not having a driver’s license and improper lane usage.Committed to the jail over the weekend in lieu of payment of s fines and costs were William Bryant Chastian, 67,’ and Fay Benjamin Smith, 64, both of Galesburg and both charged by police with disorderly conduct. Each was assessed a $5 fine, plus $14,30 costs, in Cratty’s court.
