SET FOR APRIL 18Daniel Kite Among Defendants Held on Indictments by Grand Jury.Prisoners under arrest, who were indicted last Monday by the grand jury for the March term of the circuit court will be arraigned next Monday morning before Judge D. H. Mudge, according Lo plans made Friday by State’s Attorney Lester Geers. Bench warrants have been served on 24 of the indictments and it is expected other defen dams will bo served during the weekend.Arrangements have beer made to devote Lvvo weeks to the hearing of criminal cases which will begin on April 18. There are no unusually important cases now pending on the criminal docket. Judge Mudge will preside at the criminal hearings.Da riel Kite., Alton, provided bond of $8000 late Thursday afternoon on charges in which William 0. McNeil, postal employe, is the complainant. He Is charged with extortion, confidence game, conspiracy to extort and crime against nature.
