clan.About $200 damage waa done in the attic of the W. C. Lad age home, 2735 First avenue E, at 3:10 p.m. Thursday by a roof fire which I started around the chimney and I spread into the attic before it could be stopped. The inside of the roof was damaged by fire and nearly the entire roof will have to be replaced. The loss is protected by insurance. A false alarm was recorded at 8:35 last night from Twelfth avenue and Fifth street SE.
