As Grandma’s House has grown over the past 11 years, the store has featured an array of antique and collectible glass.At the present time, the store is showcasing Indiana Glass.In 1971, Indiana Glass Company introduced a new line of carnival glass embossed with grape clusters using their Harvest molds. Prior to 1971, the Harvest molds were used to produce snowy white milk glass, blue and green satin glass patterns and various other colors from crystal to flashed glass.The new carnival glass is featured in green, blue, amber, amethyst, gold and lime colors. The handmade pattern is called “Heritage; “Harvest is the machine-made pattern.As this glass, like Depression glass, was a very inexpensive item to purchase at the time, there is plenty to find and collect. Indiana Glass also produced another line called “Tiara Exclusives. Other glass companies were involved in this line. It was a home party operation that closed in 1998.Grandma’s House offers much more than vintage glass.
