State historian, all associates of Dr- Mace.Arthur H. Ferguson of Central High School, chairman of the committee arranging the reception and dinner, introduced Dr. Spprry as toastmaster.Dr. Ralph V. Harlow, head of the history department, spoke on “IYom the Old to the New, presenting the University's welcome to JU former history department head from Jts uresent one.Dr. Flick, who retired In 1023 to become State historian. told of “Dr. Mace as We Knew Him.
