PAYING TRIBUTE:Prime Minhtcr Michael Man-fey yesterday paid tribute to Lady Allan, Lady Huggins and the late Mr*. Lilly Mae Burke at the naming of the Jamaica Federation of Women's Headquarters, and the opening of a new wing. The Prime Minster prahed them as three great acdvhts on behalf of women and the country, as he gave the main add real at yesterday’* ceremony at the headquarter*, on Arnold Road, in Kingston. The headquarters building was named, THE LADY ALLAN BUILDING, the plaque of which was unveiled by Mr. Manley One hall wasnamed. The Lady Huggins Hall, and was opened symbolically by the British High Commissioner, Mr. John Drinkall. Lady Allan andLady Huggins were the founders, with others, in 1!H4, of the JFW. The new extension was named the Lilly Mae Burke Memorial Hall and was opened by Lady Bustamante in memory of Mrs., Burke from St. Mary, the first parish administrator to become Chairman of the Federation. Sir Clifford Campbell, former Governor-General, paid a tribute to Lady Allan, who replied suitably. Mrs. Percy Miller, the chairman, presided. Lady Bustamante is seated in front of the audience.
