The Frontier Barber Shop, 105 South Scottsdale road, is now owned and operated by Bart Grant, it was announced this week. The shop was formerly owned by Malcolm White and had been managed by Grant for the past seven weeks. Grant, with his wife, Leona, and 15-year-old son, Paul, came to Scottsdale from Kembir, Ky., where he had owned his own barber shop. He has been in the barber business for 26 years, and for the past 7 years has owned and operated shops of his own. At present Grant is operating the Frontier shop alone but hopes to secure the services of an additional barber before next fall. The Grants, are now living in their house trailer but hope to buy or build a home in Scotts dale soon.
