(Special to The Post-Register) ASHTON, April 21, — Six candi dates are in the contest for two vil lage trustee positions in the annual selection April 28 in Ashton. Rulon Hemming and Steve Durst, incumbents, have filed for reelec tion. New aspirants are Charlie Phelps, Howard Larsen, Rosas Blanchard and Jack Jessen. The trustees are elected for four year terms and with the three holdover members from the vil lage board, Robert Timmins, W. C. Harris and Jack Harker are the holdover members. At Drummond where an entire new village board is to be elected an candidates seek the five po sitions. Appearing on the ballot are D. M. Archibald, Bob Neindorf, W. A. Dedman and George Baum for two year terms; Merle Harshbarger, W. C. Guthrie, Eldon Nyborg, H. A. Frank and Lloyd Bratt for four year terms.
