Franks, professor of botany at the University of Chicago spoke on children and teachers, jumping suddenly to plants and vegetables but with a fine connecting link. The next meeting will be on Oct. 6.At Monday night's meeting of the auxiliary of American Legion post 260, plans were made to send. Christmas gifts to the sons of themembers of the auxiliary and post, who are serving in the armed forces. Mrs. Joseph Parker is chairman. It was also decided to buy two service flags for the hut, one for the sons of members and one for boys m the surrounding communities who are m the armed forces. Anyone having a son or sons in service should leave their names and addresses with Mrs. Mae June in Crisman or Mrs. Joseph Parker in Gary ton. Mrs. Rudolph Westergren and Mrs. Raymond Fenske were placed in charge of Saturday night’s dance.Mr, and Mrs. Leif Sandersen, Mi's. Ralph Blair and Mrs. E.
