Finley, and was prompted by the unusual eon-, dilions now existing, the great amount of illness, the fact that all doctors aretaxed to the utmost of their ability, scarcity' of nurses, and the ffmited hospital accommodations.The first, patient was taken to Mrs.- ' k *Casad s hospital Tuesday, before she had completed arrangements for * receiving patients.The Espey hospital, the only hospital in the city, has limited accommodations, *and is needed for surgical and Other serious cases, and the opening of Mrs. Casad’s home to accommodate nlnternity cases 1 will greatly ' relieve the condition. In addition to the conditions already mentioned, doctors have not the time under the present circumstances, at least, to give to anobstetric ease in the home, all the attention repaired.
