ILittle Mis* Alice Fitch Hagestead entertained about thirty c»f her playmates at th ' home of her parents Hr. and Mrs. JR. A. Warden 501 Levee street yesterday Jaflernoon at four o'clock, the occasion being her seventh birthday. An effective pink and green motif was featured in the hospitality, the favored flowers were corona blossoms and fern, arragncd in baskets and vases. The chosen tints were reflected in the ice course of ice J cream and cakes. Out of door games suitable to the age of childhood were played on the lawn and an interesting and pretty feature of the afternoon’s J entertainment was the tableaus that had been arranged by Mrs. Warden,L ttlc Miss Elaine Qutnbv, dressed like | a huge pink rose, represented the Fairy of the Seven Candles and Miss Alice Hagestead. the celebrant, was the Queen.Seven little boy playmates, each carrying candles significant of each year of the honoree's age. placing themin the eandalabra. These represented the charming princes. Seven small princesses strewed flowers at the feet lt;f the queen wh'le Mrs. F itct - th**naiatnr told the interesting fairy tales.* Mr?.
