Fountain-Warren Democrat.Wallace Steadman Dead.Wallace Steadman, a life-long resident of Independence, died Tuesday morning at 9:30 o’clock from a complication of diseases. Deceased was about 68 years old and is survived by a second wife and three children as follows—Mrs. Guy Smith of Oxford, Mrs. Harry Girth of Lafayette, and Grover Steadman, of Independence. He also leaves two brothers— Byron and Jad Steadman, of Independence. Elmer Brown, who resides near Independence and D. J. Brown, who resides near South Milford, Ind., are stepsons of the decedent.Mrs. Steadman is also very poorly and her demise is expected at any time. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at Independence.
