David Livingston, formerly of Heath, died at Baptist Medical Center at 5:40 p.m. He suffered abdominal and facial injuries caused by flying rocks and an abnormal accummulation of fluids in the body, particularly the lungs.A hospital spokesman said Livingston “breathed a toxic chemical solution of some kind — that was the fatal blow.”Livingston's parents, Donald and Mary, boarded a plane to Little Rock at about the time their son died, Livingston’s sister, Marsha, said Friday.Livingston was first stationed after his 1977 graduation from Heath High School at the Newark Air Force Station, where his mother is employed as a procurement officer. He was transferred to an Illinois base before being sent to Little Rock two years ago, his sister said.He celebrated his 22nd birthdaySunday.The names of the others who were hospitalized, their military ranks, squadrons, conditions and locations as announced by the Air Force:Sgf.
