FORTY-FIVE YEARS AGO SEPTEMBER 18, 1924Fred Margraf, cashier of the Columbia State Bank at Lodi, well known here, has disappeared.The Waunakee baseball team was defeated by, Middleton Sunday by a score of 5 to 0. John Miner had the only two hits for Waunakee.Miss Marie Benz miller and Henry Maly were married at St. Patrick’s church, Lodi, on Tuesday, Sept. 16.Leo Wulfing and Doc Shattuck caught the largest black bass of the season in Lake Mendota Sunday. It weighed six pounds.Those from the Dane area attending high school here are Willie Schwenn, Martin Hein andJoseph Norwalk.Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Diederich of the town of Springfield announce the birth of a son on Thursday, Sept. 7.
