Mary Jo Rommel, O m a h a, | Nebr. became the bride of Dennis Juel, Omaha, in a ceremony performed at St. Paul’s Lutheran church, Readlyn, August 30, The double ring service was read by Rev. Fred Meyer at 7:30. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Earl Rommel, Readlyn and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Juel, Sumner. Mrs. Loren Knief, cousin of the groom, Waterloo was organist and accompanied Fred lt;Langrock, St. Ansgar as he sang,! “Song of Ruth’’, and the “Wed-1 ding Prayer.”The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore an Empire line gown with a gentle scooped neckline fashioned of | Engelmist taffeta with pearled Bordonne lace motifs accenting the bodice and cuffing the elbow length sleeves. The motifs also accented the watteau heart-shaped chapel train wrhich flowed from a bow on the center back. Her headpiece was a pearled organza rose which held the triple tiered illusion veil. Her flowers wrere a cluster of Frenched mums and yellow isweet-heart roses.Sherlyn Christensen, Omaha,was maid of honor and bridesmaids were the brides sisters, Mrs. Robert Lehmkuhl and Connie Rommel, Readlyn. The maid of honor wore an empire gown of yellow crepe chiffon over taffeta, with long sheer sleeves., The bridesmaids wore identical gowns of bittersweet and moss green. The gowns were trimmed in a braid of the three colors and had streamers of matching velvet ribbon. Each carried a single yellow mum with velvet ribbon streamers matching the gowns. Penni Lobeck, Denver, was flower girl and wore a yellow gown identical to the maid of honor and carried a basket ofvellow rose oetals.
