Douglas Hayes* Douglas Wayne “Bulldog” Hayes, age 50, of 505 Forest Court, Marshall, died Monday morning at i Oaklawn Hospital after being stricken at home.Hayes was born Aug. 19, 1937 in Rumsey, KY. to Wayne and Murrel(Ellis) Hayes. He has been a resident of the Marshall area for the past 18 years, moving here fromDetroit in 1969. He was employed by the Eaton Corporation Proving Grounds as a Lab Supervisor, and worked there for 32 years. He was active in the Eaton’s Bowling League here in Marshall.He married the former Dolores Koryla on February 12, 1955 in Detroit.He is survived by his his wife, Dolores; two daughters, Dawn M. of Nashville, TN. and Danielle A. of Marshall; three son, Douglas A. ofMSYshall, Dennis J. of San Diego, CA. and Darren W. of Nashville, TN. and his mother, Murrel Hayes of Rumsey, KY.There will be no public visitation and a memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10 at the Craig Kempf Funeral Home. Aprivate was held in Oakridge Cemetery. The family has asked that there no flowers be sent: in lieu of flowers a memorial may be made to the Michigan Heart Association. Assistance with memorials is available at the funeral home.
