Certain Richards and Us family came from Wales when Richards was a boy. There were three boys in the family* They settled in Kanawha Valley above Charleston when salt was king in this state. One of the threewas John Richards, who became the father of Sam Richards, now 89, and still living on his farm half-way between Oak Hill and Fayetteville. Sam and the late Jim Richards of Oak Hill, were brothers. Jim Richards wsa a tall man but not as tall as his grandfather.Captain Richards* • wigs was Minerva Windsor whose forbearsmigrated from Scotland. Herfather was known as Doc,# Windsor. This Doc'* Windsor hid a son named Ed* Ed was abig man who weighed over 200rounds.
