The Pyrenees Bakery, owned and operated by Pierre Lax-aguc, is a true family operation. His son, Michel, dough-master for the plant, takes freshly baked French loaves from the old-fashioned brick ovens while Pierre, his wife,Juanita, and daughter, Marianne, inspect a loaf of thefirm's unique sheepherdcr bread. The Laxagues have operated the bakery since 1947 when they purchased it from its founder, Joe Geydon.
