Dora 0. MillerDora Orleva Miller was born Feb. 6, 1898, on a farm west of Diller, Neb., to Otto F. and Anna Marie (Mary) Ommen Willems. She died Aug. 19, 1987, at Jefferson County Memorial Hospital in Fairbury, Neb., at the age of 89.When she was young the family moved to a farm four miles west of Diller where her father founded the town of Shea. He was a railroad grain agent, farmer and merchant.She was valedictorian of her Diller High School graduating class and attended Peru State College and the University of Nebraska.In 1919 she was united in marriage to Scott Allen Miller of Diller. During their 35 years of marriage they lived in Diller where he was a rural mail carrier until his death in 1954.She taught elementary grades in Diller rural school districts and Steele City and Odell Public Schools.
