Cecilia MullenLA PORTE CITY — Cecilia Mulien, 103 Primrose Lane, will celebrate her 80th birthday next Sunday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. in Cizek Hall at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Porte City.Hosts will be her six children and spouses, Don Mullen; Mary and Dick Miller of Buckingham;Tom and Wilma Mullen; Larry and Becky Mullen of Dike;Dean and Peg Cecilia MullenMullen; and Neil--and Teresa Mullen.iThere are 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Cecilia Schons was bom Nov. 3,;. 1913, on the Schons family fairn iif Eagle Township, the daughter of j Peter and Mary Schons. She married Ralph E. Mullen June 7,193$, and they resided on the Mullen farm until they moved in 1981 to La Porte City. Mr. Mullen died in June 1985.No invitations are being sent and the honoree requests no gifts.
