Mr. Carl Mathlea la Vaaderlll*.Mr. Ctrl Mathieu, son of Doctor and Mrs. A. H. Mathieu. 120ft Madison avenue, a young Baltimore tenor, entered the raaka of pmedy actor* laat Friday at the Maryland Theatre. Mr. Mathieu for the pait two year* ha* had bis voice trained In this city and in Washington In contemplation of joining a musical comedy company. At the beginning of the week, however, be waa signed by H. T. MacConnell and company, and has derided to remain in vaudeville.
