The little rain we had sure was a great help. Almost everybody is ready for the long winter but we all hope itdoesn’t snow for a while yet.A dance was held in the David Thompson school last Fiiday. |; There was a very large crowd and all enjoyed themselves. Mr. Jim I] Stahl and Mrs. C. Urlacher were h the musicians. They had a lot of i pep for the little playing they | ] have done. They expect to get a i drummer to play with them. I, Watch the boy’s swing!A dance was held in the DeerHill school last Friday with a small crowd attending. A couple of boys from David Thompson were up and they helped to liven up the crowd. That helps a lot.Mr. Mike Dolries and family left the country and are going to Manitoba where they expect to reside.Mr. Frank Walsh and Mr. Pat O’Conner went to Fairview Saturday.There are quite a few farmersaround here working on the roadsWe hope the weather stays nice so they can finish (he roads which are needed badly.David Thompson is having a chicken supper and bazaar and dance November 10th.
