OBSERVES 81ST BIRTHDAYA number of relatives gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hynes in Rockwell City Sunday, October 20, in honor of Mr. Hynes’ 81st birthday. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hynes of Wichita, Kansas; Margaret and Fred Hynes of Pomeroy; Mrs Bessie Nieman, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nieman and family of Pocahontas; Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Waldo of Storm Lake; and Mrs. Robert Reiter, Billy, Joe, Mike and Mary of Estherville.Wm. Hynes and Fred Hynes are brothers, and Bessie Nieman andMargaret Hynes are sisters of Joe Hynes. Other guests present were nieces and nephews.Mr. and Mrs. James Johnson called in the evening. Lottie De-Sart of Jolley, sister of Mrs. Joe Hynes, spent the day in the Hynes home.Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hynes formerly lived on their farm near Jolley wthich they still own. They have been residing in Rockwell City the past several years.
