Rev. and Mrs. Woods Will be HonoredThe Rev. and Mrs. Herman Woods will be honored by members of the First Baptist church on their fifth anniversary Oct. 29 through November 2 with special services at the church.October 29 the Rev. George W. Dehomey fo the Whiterock Baptist Church will be guest speaker at 7:30 p.m.Thursday evening the Rev. Bertrand M. Bailey of the Mt. Calvary Basptist Church of Denton will be guest speaker. TheRev. C. L. Adams of the Samaria Baptist Church of Van Alstynewill also speak.The Rev. W. M. Tospy will speak at services Oct. 31 and the Rev. R. B. Cooper of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church of DenisonServiceswill also speak.November 1 the Rev. Charles McNealy of the Iron Ore Baptist Church will be special speaker at 7:30 p.m.Sunday morning services November 2 will be presented by the Rev. L. Gentry. Following services dinner will be served.Deacon Kenneth Owens will give the welcome for the special Sunday afternoon services November 2 the Rev. Daniel McLane speaking. Guests churches will be the Western Beauty CME of Whitewright and the St. Paul Baptist Church of Denison.Chairman of the entire event is Almeeta Smith and co-chairman is Thelma Walker. Claude Barker is deacon.
