In order to keep the jacket the senior must remain active in sports and display sportsman-like conduct the remainder of his or her high school career.The varsity jackets were )n* distributed to 30 seniors at the)ol varsity club’s first meeting onir* September 17. The officersbe chosen at the first meetinga were Norman Sollenbergerpresident; Greg Batzel.1C vice-president; Nanetteid Gable, secretary; and Paulre Fisher, treasurer,of Band jackets wen?ic- distributed to 31 seniors onin- October B. To receive a bund?d, jacket the senior must haveod been active for three years inen senior high band. Any seniorcould pay one-third the price of the jacket for each year he wasn’t active in senior high band. To keep the jacket the senior must remain active in band the remainder of his or her high school career.In order to pay for the jackets the band parents pay u dues of two dollars a year starting the year their child enters bund.The officers of the band are Brian Burkct. president; Crista Border, vice president; Cindy Biddle, secretary-treasurer, and Vicki Bussard. assistant secretary-treasurer.A comet named Eneke visits the earth every 3.3 years, the most frequent visitor of ihe 811 known comets Scientists hope to send up a spaceship to rendezvous with Encke when it returns in 1984. passing slowly through its head and tail to make scientific measurements.
