Oct M. at Camp Sacajawea near Boone. The merger will become effective on Jan 1. 1975.Moingona Council currentlyincludes Girl Scouts in 165 counties including Boone. Story. Marshall. Guthrie. Dallas, Polk, Jasper, Rwveshiek. Adair, Madison. Warren, Marion. Mahaska (western half). Union. Clarke, Ringgold, and Decatur.Lucas County is among the nine Caravan Trails counties that will be included in the merger. There are approximately 2.000 girls and400 adults in Caravan Trails Girl Scout Council.The offices for the merged council will be located at the current Moingona Council offices.
