iwrs. Amejaa viator was nonorea on her birthday, October 4, with a surprise anniversary party at the home of Mrs. Margaret Clements, at which the group of invitees presented Mrs. Viator with a lovely gift. Featured as the highlight of the refreshment table was an elegantly decorated birthday cake, made by the hostess, Mrs. Clements, who used orchid and pink pastel shades of icing and candles, surrounded at its base with matching asters. The guest of honor was privileged to cut the cake at the hour of serving the other light refreshments. Needlecraft and social chat were the diversions. Among those listed as present are Mes-dames Wesley Holt, Don Bird, Charles Singleton, Harris Engle, Curley Durette, Jack Blad, Donald Phillips, .Geneve DeLauer, Ronald Rose, Virginia Edwards, Charles Culverwell and Edward O'Connor.■ * -
