T CANE HILL • ‘ * #Cane Hill, Oct. 11—A showerwas given Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Ellen Richardson for the first grandson of Rev. and Mrs. S. E. Marrs, Charles Robin Marrs who arrived at the home of his parents, Rev. and Mrs. C. B. Marrs Sept. 12 inReardan, Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Marrs will be remembered as Charles Marrs and Nolle Blake-more of Scranton, Ark.The women of the parish, Cane Hill, Clyde and Crozier churches were guests. The grandmother, Mrs. S. E. Marrs was honor guest and the gifts for the grandson were presented to her to be mailed to Washington. Out of town guests were Mrs. C. B. Castor and Miss Martha Lou Cecil of Harrison; Mrs. D. L Moore and daughter Martha Elizabeth, Mrs. Charles McClellan and Mrs. Booth Campbell all of Fayetteville. Games were played and punch and cake served.
