Thorson, 28, Pocatello, who was tried here on a misdemeanor charge, reckless driving. The trial took place from 2 to 5 p. m. yesterday. «Thorson, who had pleaded “not guilty” was involved in a two-truck crash four miles south of Hansen Sept.. 25. In the accident the driver of a pickup truck, Merle Kemp, Hansen, lost an arm.The state, represented by Everett M. Swecley, county prosecutor, called Kemp and Deputy Sheriff D. C, Parrott, county traffic officer, to testify.Thorson, represented by W. L. Dunn, attorney, also testified. The defense also called Loran Kings-ford, Pocatello, owner of the graveltruck Thorson drove; W. J. Prout, Idaho Falls, and O, A.
