2- The Foirborn Doily Hgrold, Tuetdoy, October 4, 1966College Students E Mile, 3-Week TripBv MRS ROHI R I HI T: Correspondent. 878-43MA 3-week, 7,000-mile trip to California ended last week for Dennis Stegner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Stegner, 1308 Sunset dr., and his fraternity brother and another friend, James Blazer and Tom Rhea, both of Findlay. Saturday, the boys returned to Wittenberg university. Dennis is a sophomore.Stops were made at the Badlands, Black Hills, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Reno, Nev., before reaching Palo Alto, Calif., where the college students spent fourdays as guests of Tom's sister, Miss Sue Rhea. While there they visited Sansalito, Fisherman's wharf, North Beach, rode the trolley cars and took a 40-mile auto tourof the San Francisco area. They also toured Chinatown and the Golden Gate bridge before leaving for I.os Angeles.In LA, the boys took a 17-mile drive to Monterey, then went to Malibu where they visited a friend whose home was 200 yards from the beach with a beautiful view. From here, they took a tour of Universal studios and visited “The Strip,* Hollywood blvd., Huntington National library, Ma-HELLO WORLD ^Mr. and Mrs. John W. Maddox, 109 Wayne dr.. are announcing the birth of a granddaughter born Sept. 23 to Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Strader Jr. of Columbus, Ind. The infant, named Amy I lizabeth, is the first child of the Straders, former Fairbornites.Paternal grandparents are former residents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Strader Sr., of Columbus, Ind.Mr. and Mrs. Harry Holland, 4356 W. 135th st., apt. B, Hawthorne, Calif., are parents of a daughter, Frin Elizabeth, born Sept. 23. Mrs. Holland is the former Frances Kollefrath, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Kollefrath. Mrs. Kollefrath, the former Fva Longstreth, was a life-long resident of Fairborn.It's a daughter for First Lt. and Mrs. James Fiser, 122 W. Garland ave. The infant arrived Sept. 28 at Air Force hospital, Wright-Patterson AF B.Mr. and Mrs. Richard Minehart, 324 Arms dr., are announcing the birth of a son born Sept. 28 at Grandview hospital.Born Sept. 28 at Kettering Memorial hospital, was a son to Mr. and Mrs. General Croucher, Fairborn.Parents of a daughter born Sept. 28 at Air Force hospital, Wright-Patterson AFB, are Ale and Mrs. Donald H.
