Mrs. Kate ThorpeDies in Delavan[GAZETTH NEWS SERVICE]Delavan —Mrs. Kate Thrope, 69. died Sunday morning in the home of her daughter. Mrs. John T. Murphy, 6u3 McDowell street after a few months illness. She was born .March 5, 1865 near Delavan and had spent her entire life in this city and vicinity.Her husband, John Thorpe, died March 18, 1916. Surviving are the four children. John Thorpe. Mrs. John T. Murphy, and Bert Thorpe, all of Delavan. and William Thorpe, Darien; and five grandchildren.Funeral services wil be held in the home, 603 McDowell street, at 9 a. m. Tuesday and at 9:30 in St. Andrew's church. Burial will be in the Delavan cemetery.
