Brill and children, Ruth and Nancy, of Milan, 111., are spending the Thanksgiving holidays with their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Minnie Sloan. •Word has been received of theserious illness of Mrs. Harley Miller, who is in a hospital at Indianapolis. Padelford were hosts at Thanksgiving dinner to Mr. and Mrs. Chris Haahr, Mr. and Mrs. Robley Padelford and William Padelford. Mr. and Mrs. Robley Padelford left Friday for their home in Pontiac. They were accompanied by William Padelford, who will attend the Michigan-Ohio game at Ann Arbor with them today, before returning to his school at Martin.Mr. and Mrs. Everett Genter of Muskegon are announcing the birth Tuesday, Nov. 21, of a daughter. Mrs. Genter was formerly Mildred Johnson. Her mother, Mrs. N. I. Johnson, spent,NOV; 25, 1939.Wednesday with her daughter and family at Muskegon and the little son, Ronald Everett, returned with her to spend a few weeks here.Mr. and Mrs. George Reed and son and Mr. Reed's father, William Miller of Sugar Grove and Miss Zerrillo pf Custer were Thanksgiving , guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Hedrick in Amber. Mrs. Herdick is a daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Reed,Mr. and Mrs, Dell Reed, son, Robert, and daughters, Joyce and Ruth, latere Thanksgiving guests of their daughter. Mrs. Gilfillan was formerly Marcella Swanson of Lud-ington and she and her family are enjoying an extended visit with her parents and friends here.Charles Larson, janitor of the State Savings bank, has been confined to his bed for the past 10 days with bronchial pneumonia.
