Augustine WilliamsPORT ARTHUR - Mrs. Estella “Nellie” Augustine Williams, 69, of Port Arthur died Friday, November 18, ‘2005 at St. Mary’s Hospital. A native of Marksville, Louisiana, she was a resident of Port Arthur, Texas for 67 years.As a member of the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, she served her church family as an usher and deaconess. She was also a member of “Seniors Alive” and the hospitality committee. She retired from Allied Merchant Bank as a bank teller.She is survived by her husband, Abner Williams, Jr.; three daughters, Johannah Williams and Romona Ledet (Shawn) of Port Arthur, and Monica Williams-Newcost of Nederland; an aunt, Marcella Lockwood; four sisters, Helen Joseph (Rev. Samuel Joseph, Sr.), Anna Barbara Roy, Linda Blake (Percy), all of Port Arthur, and Alma G. Brown (Winston) of Beaumont; brothers, Lawrence Augustine (Linda) of Port Arthur and Peter Ford (Lucille) of Marksville, LA; grandchildren, Derrick Williams. Christella Stephens, Sierra and Tierra Ledet, all of Port Arthur, and Nashea Newcost of Nederland; in-laws, Richard Williams (Dolores), Edgar Williams, and Doris Ramey, all of Port Arthur; and a host of nieces, nephew's, other relatives, and friends.A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday. November 23, 2005 at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church from 12:00 noon until services at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Randy Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
