Herbert Hoover Now at Hanson9bHerbert Hoover Garvin, a bouncing 10-pound boy arrived at the home of Mr, and Mrs, Tuff Garvin, near Hanson on November 14th. The little fellow was named in honor of President Herbert Hoover, and it so happened that he is the first Sequoyah county youngster to be named after the President. Herbert Hoover Garvin’s grandfather is Ben Garvin, widely known stockman and farmer of Hanson and a prominent republican in county circles.
