First Lutheran High School Group Has Tureen SupperrThe senior high group of the First Lutheran church held Us monthly meeting Sunday evening in the social rooms of the church. A tureen supper was served at 6 o'clock with Marianna Fuller and Jacqueline Henri, rv in charge. The tables, arrang-, i ed In a hollow square, were dec-i- orated with miniature corn o'shocks, miniature pumpkins and | nuts, trimmed in orange colors I-.with orange colored tapers furn-J ishing light.h During the devotional meet-’’i l?*L,.whlch followed Edwin I'Gohlke read a thanksgiving psalm, Harris Reissig led in a thanksgiving prayer, and Jerome Martin gave a talk and directed discussion on the topic of Christian citizenship. A period of games followed, with table tennis filling in the gaps before and after the other sessions. Karl Weick, advisor to the group, was in charge of the social session.Jerome Martin and Marianna Fuller are co-presidents of the group with Jean McGregor and dohn Marshall co-vice presidents. Jacqueline Henry is the secretary and Harris Reissig the treasurer. The next meeting will be on the third Sunday evening in December and will be a Christmas meeting at the Robert Henry home on Santee avenue.
