—A contractor is preparing to bore for gas on the premises of Hr. Gilbert Hogan, Grace Court (east Second street), with a view to utilizing it for beating and lighting Mr. Hogan’s residence, if the borlcg proves successful. We understand that other citizens contemplate boring for gas as soon as the success of this first trial is assured.
