Surprise for Miss Crawford.Hop wood, Nov. 13.—A very pleasant surprise party was given at the home of Mr.-and Mrs. Sheridan Crawford in honor of their daughter, Miss Bertha M. Crawford’s birthday, Monday evening. After spending the evening in music, games and other amusements until 11 o'clock a bountiful repast was served of which all partook heartily. Those present were Misses Nell, Bess and Lela Davidson, nelen and Lida Pell, May and Effa Kremer, Phema Patton, Teresa Keenan, Hazel Wull-ner, Pearl Glover, Alverda Barnes, Helen Beesou, Mr. and Mrs. .lames! Hazen, George ISmpch, Arthur Hair, Clarence Walton, Ray Martin, Harry Devan, Ray Silbaugh, Frank Schnat-terly, Elmer Cuppetl, Frank Wfrslng, Frank Fear, Bisniark Province. ‘On departing the guests wished Miss Bertha many pleasant birthdays.
